Raising Money For Your Team, Group, or Organization?

This is an easy way to raise money for your class, team, or group, while providing friends and family with gift cards for two of Winnipeg's most unique and best loved restaurants - all at a great discount!

Sell two $50 gift cards for $90 ($10 savings for your supporters) and keep an additional $10 per set for your group!  ie: we collect $80 for the two $50 cards.  And unlike other gift card fundraising programs, we do not require a minimum sell amount, nor do we charge an administration fee. Our gift cards are valid at both locations and have no expiry date.

Fundraising Opportunities for Charities and Non-Profits

Hu's Asian Bistros have recently partnered with several local charities and NPO's to help raise money for their causes.  We have three main opportunities that we offer, but we are always open to hearing new ideas!

1. Selling Hu’s Gift Cards: Sell two $50 gift cards for $90 ($10 savings for your supporters) and your organization keeps an additional $10 per set.  ie: we collect $80 for two $50 gift cards.  We supply order forms and info sheets for your organization to use for this promotion.  Sell 100 sets, and that’s an easy $1000 profit for you!  No upfront payment necessary!

 

2. E-blast: We design a poster that you then email out to your supporters.  The poster has your logo and offers your supporters $10 off their next visit to Hu’s Asian bistro.  For every $10 coupon that is redeemed, we will donate $2 to your organization.  Most organizations have a large distribution list, so this is an easy way to contact many people and raise funds quickly.

 

3. Wine Dinners: You sell tickets for $100 each, and you keep $25 per ticket.  We pair six great wines with six Asian-inspired, unique dishes.  Traditional wine tasting with an Asian flare!  Hu’s in-house Sommelier, Michaela Scrimger gives detailed tasting notes while answering all of your wine-related questions!  When choosing to do a Wine Dinner, Hu's Asian Bistro will not only host the event, but also be instrumental in advertising on your behalf through our distribution lists, website, and in-store marketing.  As an added touch, you may also wish to include a Silent Auction!
